If you prefer to discover our unique mountain world on two wheels, Samnaun is the right place for you. In recent years, the network of mountain bike trails in the Samnaun mountains has grown considerably and you will find many different tours, from easy to difficult. Special highlights are the Flow-Trail Trider Sattel and the Enduro-Trail Viderjoch, both built by the former world class downhiller Claudio Caluori.

If you spend your holidays in Samnaun you can use all facilities of the Silvretta Bike and Hiking Arena Samnaun/Ischgl free of charge with your guest card. Simply present your guest card at the ticket office of the mountain railways and you will receive your ticket. Of course you can also transport your mountain bike with the cable car. Arrived at the mountain station you have several possibilities: Either you start your hike or mountain bike tour here or you go to the Panorama mountain restaurant for something to eat, enjoy the wonderful view and, if you wish, you can also make a detour to Ischgl with the chair lifts.

Due to its location in the border triangle of Switzerland, Austria and Italy, Samnaun is the ideal starting point for numerous motorcycle tours. In the area around Samnaun you will find countless beautiful and winding mountain and pass roads, so that nothing stands in the way of your motorcycle pleasure. The union of altogether 7 regions in the border triangle to the motorcycle region Motoalps is a true pleasure for each motorcycle fan.

The courses are now available at over 500 locations in Switzerland and keep you fit. The Samnaun keep-fit trail is about 2.3 kilometres long, has 15 training stations with a total of 43 exercises and leads through a picturesque forest. You will be alternately required to do mobility, strength and endurance exercises. All you need for the course are comfortable running shoes and functional clothing. If you don't feel like doing the exercises, this is no problem, just take the nice walk through the forest and leave out the additional exercises.

After an exhausting and eventful day in the mountains of Samnaun, there is nothing better than relaxing in the water. The Alpenquell Spa is located in Samnaun Compatsch and offers you a large swimming area, whirlpools, massage jets, an ice-cold spring water shower, a steam bath, solariums, massages, as well as a sauna area with a panoramic view. By the way, the Alpenquell Spa is a good alternative if the weather does not meet your wishes and you do not feel like skiing.

The Samnaun Valley Museum offers interesting insights into the barren old days of a typical Samnaun peasant family from 1600 to 1900. It is located in the Chasa Retica in Samnaun Plan, which is under a preservation order. The Engadine farmhouse dates back to 1658 and is therefore probably the second oldest surviving building in the Samnaun Valley. The oldest still existing building of Samnaun might be the chapel Maria Hilf in Samnaun Dorf, which was built before 1500 and is also worth seeing.
